Frugal Mom

Hi I'm Frugal Mom and welcome to FoodFamilyFrugal!  I'm starting this blog as a way to share my passion for family and food - and explain how we do it all with a limited budget.  I'll also be chronicling our journey through OIT (oral immunotherapy) and SLIT (sublingual immunotherapy) as we try to conquer allergies to peanuts, tree nuts and sesame!

I have no formal training in food or photography.  YES, my pictures are taken with an Iphone at this point and I'm not afraid to admit it!  I'm a busy, full-time working mom of 4 children - all of whom have very specific and individual needs!  I'm also learning to sew, working as an SLP and starting my own agency, handling food allergies, cooking dinner about 7 nights per week and finding time to spend with my husband and family.

We are New Yorkers at heart but live in sunny San Diego!
